Regulations for Students attending courses at BTM College for Women

  1. The criteria of admission to BTM College as listed on the M.G University website apply to all the candidates.
  2. The candidate (if minor, should be accompanied by at least one parent) will personally meet the management of BTM College for Women at the time of seeking admission.
  3. The candidate will abide by the following rules:
    • Students will respect the college authorities and staff members at all times.
    • Students will respect all the other students of the college.
    • Students will wear clothes according to the dress code decided by the college authorities.
    • Students will be punctual for classes. Action will be taken against those who arrive late and/or remain absent without proper reasons.
    • Students will not damage or deface in any way the furniture, equipment or building premises.
    • Students will keep to the bounds of the areas designated for the course and not move into unauthorized areas.
    • Students will use the washroom facilities according to their respective gender.
    • Students will not bring or consume prohibited substances (tobacco products, alcohol, drugs, etc.) in the college premises.
    • Students will not enter into any non-professional relationship with a staff member or another student, whether on the campus or outside.
    • Students will not use any electronic communication devices on the campus.
      (Making or receiving calls, chatting, taking photos, playing games, etc. is strictly prohibited.)
    • Students will not post anything on social media that is detrimental to the reputation and well-being of the college, its management, staff or students.
    • Students will not be involved in any activities that could cause harm to the reputation and well-being of the college, its management, staff or students.
    • If any student discontinues attending the course, the original certificate(s) will be returned only after paying half the amount of fees of the entire course.
    • Students will not be permitted to appear for the public examination without clearing all fees dues.
    • In case of any issues not covered by the above regulations, the decision of the college management will be final.
  4. The management reserves the right to take disciplinary action (including dismissal) against any student who doesn’t comply with the above rules and regulations.
